What to check
This calculation uses: Length, Width, Layer thickness, Product consumption, Bag weight, Waste allowance. It returns: Area, Dry material, Bags.
Check the wall in several places because an uneven substrate rarely has one exact thickness. Use a realistic average and calculate deep repairs separately.
Area is multiplied by layer thickness and the product consumption stated per square metre per millimetre. Waste is added before dividing by bag weight.
The dry weight helps compare products with different sack sizes. Water is not included because mixing ratios and final wet volume depend on the product.
A few deep hollows can use more material than a broad thin coat. Repair them first or include them as separate measured zones.
Use the units beside each field. The values in the worked example are starting inputs; replace them with your measurements and the specifications of your material.
