Self-Leveling Floor Compound Calculator
Estimate self-leveling compound weight and whole bags from floor area, average depth and label consumption.

| Layer thickness | 8 mm |
| Product consumption | 1.6 kg/m²/mm |
| Bag weight | 20 kg |
| Waste allowance | 7 % |

| Dry material | 273.9 kg |
| Bags | 14 |
What to check
This calculation uses: Length, Width, Layer thickness, Product consumption, Bag weight, Waste allowance. It returns: Area, Dry material, Bags.
Take level readings across the floor and base the input on average thickness, not only the deepest point. Divide stepped areas into separate zones.
Floor area is multiplied by average thickness and label consumption per square metre per millimetre. The resulting dry mass is rounded to whole bags.
Check the product’s minimum and maximum application thickness. A thick build-up may require another system or more than one operation.
Primer, edge strip, reinforcement and movement joints are not included in the bag count and must be planned separately.
Use the units beside each field. The values in the worked example are starting inputs; replace them with your measurements and the specifications of your material.
