Tile Box Coverage, Piece Count and Batch Numbers
Use box area and piece count correctly when planning a tile order.

Tile Box Coverage, Piece Count and Batch Numbers
A box normally lists nominal tile size, pieces and total coverage. Coverage is the best figure for ordering, while piece count helps with layout. Verify whether the stated size is nominal or actual. Check calibre, shade and batch markings because another production run may look different beside the first.
Worked example
12 m² × 1.10 / (0.60 m × 0.30 m) → 74; ceil(74 / 10) = 8
