What to check
This calculation uses: Wall perimeter, Total doorway width, Piece length, Waste allowance. It returns: Total length, Whole pieces.
Measure every wall at floor level and subtract doorway widths only where no skirting will be fitted. Add returns and built-in furniture details separately.
Net wall length receives the chosen cutting allowance, then it is divided by the length of one purchasable piece and rounded up.
Count internal and external corners as well as end caps before buying accessories. The calculator reports straight material only.
Short offcuts may not bridge the next wall. Compare each wall length with stock length before reducing the allowance.
Use the units beside each field. The values in the worked example are starting inputs; replace them with your measurements and the specifications of your material.
